The Eagle Ford Shale, located in South Texas, is one of the premier unconventional oil plays in the United States. We were an early entrant into this play in late 2008. Since then, we’ve acquired a leasehold position in the core of the oil window, primarily in La Salle and Atascosa counties. The Eagle Ford formation in La Salle County has up to 125 feet of net thickness, making it some of the most prolific acreage in the area. Due to its high carbonate content, the Eagle Ford is also brittle, and delivers high productivity when fractured, with initial 30-day oil equivalent production rates up to 1,100 Boe/d. We currently have 91,675 net acres in the Eagle Ford, where we’ve identified 946 drilling locations.
